Kalin Ivanov - Cinematographer
Kalin Ivanov holds a B.A. and M.F.A. in Cinematography from the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria and M.F.A. in Television Production from Brooklyn College CUNY. He has many film and television credits as a director of photography, cameraman, director, producer, photographer and editor (The Gift, Irish writers in America; Theatre Talk; Canape; Nueva York; Even the Score; The Beaches; The Gates of Jeanne-Claude and Christo; The Girl, the Boy and the Frog; Houben Paints Money, etc.). Since 2000 Kalin is a senior videographer, producer and editor at CUNY TV, Channel 75 in New York. In 2012 Kalin has won two Emmy Awards for producing in the categories of Environmental Program and Best Magazine Program (Nueva York). In 2013 Kalin has won an Emmy Award for producing in Education: Program/Special. His work was also distinguished with a Telly Award and four Communicator Awards for Canape, Theatre Talk and the documentaries Sloan at 75 and UFT. Kalin’s photographs have been selected for various exhibitions and private collections. Most recently his photograghy work has been selected for the premanent exhibition at the 9/11 Memorial in New York City. He has created original video artwork and photography for numerous Overground productions amongst which Lactobacillicum Bulgaricum, Blueprint, Peripheral Visions, Shifters, Avatar, Urban Tao, Ecocentric and X-STREAM. Overground is a New York based non profit organisation. Kalin is co-creator and co-producer of Yogea Artflow Yoga, an innovative yoga web series.

Dejan Dukovski - Screenwriter/Play Author
Born in Skopje in 1969, Dejan Dukovski is one of the most important contemporary playwrights of the Republic of Macedonia. He is considered to be the Chekhov of The Balkans. Under the guidance of playwright Goran Stefanovski, Dukovski graduated in dramaturgy from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje; a screenwriter, he has also written many film and television screenplays. His most famous play, Powder Keg (1994), is set in Belgrade during the ethnic cleansing of Kosovo. Patterned after Arthur Schnitzler’s La Ronde, Powder Keg replaces the theme of love with that of hate and creates a grotesque chain-like connection of cruelty. After the successful enactment of Powder Keg on the stage of the Yugoslav Drama Theatre and a guest performance at the Bonn Biennale in Germany, the play has been translated into 20 languages and was made into a 1995 film.Without exception, all of Dukovski’s plays have been huge successes: Siljan the Stork (1991), The Last Balkan Vampire (1991), The Balkans Are Not Dead (1992), Damn He Who Started It (1997). His works have been performed on 35 stages in 21 countries worldwide (including Slovenia, Romania, Serbia, Denmark, Croatia, Japan, Bulgaria, Greace, Netherlands, Germany, USA, Hungary, Turkey, Russia and Poland). The Whitelisted Theatre in it's 3rd season staged "Lost in Space" and "Who the f**k started all this" in the midst of Broadway. The overwhelming success of WTFSAT made it the longest running Eastern European show in US.

Petar Varbanov - Director
Petar Varbanov is one of the most renowned directors in Bulgaria. He directed "Lost in Space" for the 3rd season of The Whitelisted Theatre Company. His work brought great success to the show and the company.

Milen Lyutskanov - Bulgarian Consul
Milen Lyutskanov acts as the consul for Bulgaria in NYC. He has been an important adviser and suporter of The Whitelisted Theatre Company.

Teodor Petelov - Artistic Director
Teodor Petelov is an Actor, Director, Producer and a freelance Casting Director
living in New York City. He is a graduate of The National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria and the Conservatory program at Atlantic Theater Acting School. As the Artistic Director of The WhiteListed Theatre Company in NYC, Teodor has produced and acted in “The WhiteListed Workshop”, “Belgrade Trilogy” 2012/
2013 and “We love the Balkan”.

Tihomir Andonov - Creative Director
Tihomir Andonov is an actor, director and musician living and working in NYC. He has studied theatre and movie acting/directing in Bulgaria (Sofia), as well as in New York City. He recently joined the team and became the company's Creative Director and one of the producers for the 2013-2014 season. Tihomir is also an actor and Co-Director in the upcoming productions, and is thrilled and proud to become a part of the company .


Artan Telqiu - Dir. of Development
Artan Telqiu is an Actor, Writer, DJ, and a Photographer living in New York City.
His love for theater was planted in his heart since the early years of his life. The journey as an actor brought him together with the creative team behind the whitelisted. As the Director of Development at The WhiteListed Theatre Company in NYC, Artan has produced and acted in “Belgrade Trilogy” 2012/2013 and is doing the same for the 2013-2014 season.

Jenny Karlsen - Creative Director
Jenny Karlsen is an actress, teacher, director and native New Yorker, who spends most of her time fantasizing what Shakespeare's reaction would be to the iPhone. How would one place emojis in iambic pentameter? Jenny's schooling has consisted of various arts programs, and she holds a degree in Theatre Arts from The City College of New York. She has been with The WhiteListed for two seasons, the first of which consisted of assistant directing The Dukovski Project.

Adriana Milanova - Composer
Adriana Milanova is a composer, pianist and singer situated in Vienna, Austria. She obtained her Bachelor Degree in Classical Piano at the National Music Conservatory in Sofia, Bulgaria. She has been a part of various theatrical events over the past decade. Including: Best Female Performance Award at The Jean Louis Barrault International Theatre Festival 2004, portraying Edith Piaf in “Edith”, directed by Teodor Petelov. As the composer of The WhiteListed Theatre Company, Adriana has created the original music for “The WhiteListed Workshop”, "The Belgrade Trilogy", 2012/2013 and “We love the Balkan”.

Maya Velcheva - Marketing Director
Maya Velcheva is thrilled to be furthering her career by serving as a Marketing Director for The Whitelisted Theatre Company. She is an experienced Online Advertising and Marketing professional in some of the most popular Bulgarian online medias. She obtained her Master Degree in Marketing and Bachelor in Business Informatics at the University of National and World Economics in Sofia, Bulgaria. As a Marketing Manager Maya is in charge of the Marketing strategy, PR and achieving advertising goals of the company and allow users know a little more about us.

Daniela Novati - Stylist
Daniela Novati is a fashion stylist from Milan living and working in NYC . She has been a stylist for the world famous MaxMara since 2007 both in Milan and NY, as well as for Bloomingdales and Nordstrom. She also provides her talents for the famous photographer Alexo Wandael. She returns to The Whitelisted after their collaboration in 2012/13 where Daniela worked as Costume Designer and Stylist for "Belgrade Trilogy" as well as the photoshoots and public events.

Steven Cruz is a proud member of The WhiteListed Theatre Company. His recent credits include “Belgrade Trilogy” 2013, “We love the Balkan” and “Discounted Headshots” fundraising campaign.

Josh Stillman
Josh Stillman was raised in Cary, North Carolina. He attended Duke University where he received a BA in English and a Certificate in Documentary Studies. After graduating, he spent a year in Ecuador teaching English. He is thrilled to be working with The WhiteListed Theatre Company and helping them achieve their goal of introducing the US to some of Eastern Europe's finest theatre.
