A weekly program for young actors aged 10-20.

 

A safe and supportive environment for young talent from across the NYC area.

 

A convenient location for all 5 boroughs in the heart of Manhattan at The Producers’ Club Theatres.

 

The training consists of group classes dedicated to developing the creativity, voice and physicality of our students.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Technique:

The course will cover short scenes, improvisation and basic physical warm ups. Chuck Jones technique, Suzuki training, Viewpoints and basic Stanislavski exercises, voice and speech work, The art of Clowning, singing classes and theatre games.

The secondary level is working on an ensemble play that will be performed in front of teachers, parents, casting directors and producers by the end of the season. (May-June)

The training will feature various guest acting teachers providing a professional and fun acting program.

 

OUR FACULTY:

The WhiteListed Acting Studio is a project of The WhiteListed Theatre Company.

Our instructors are skilled and diverse performers of The WhiteListed Theatre Company and beyond, with various teaching credits and previous collaborations with institutions and artistic ensembles such as Borough of Manhattan Community College, The Free Theatre Studio as well as our own WhiteListed Workshop for professional artists. In our four seasons we have a history of providing interns with a rich practical knowledge of the different aspects of theatre production. In addition to our established faculty, we also bring in renowned guest artists from around the globe.

Acting Intensives:

 

Four Week Audition Intensive (twice a week)

A small group of actors will have the opportunity to work on their school-audition monologues/scenes or just prepare for Important auditions assisted by a professional acting coach.

 

Affordable One-On-One Acting Coaching

One-on-One Speech Class (Includes accent reduction, proper mid-atlantic English)

Group Speech Class (Limited to four people per class)

 

OTHER Classes include:

Real-time Theatre producing (One time non profit sign-up fee of $25 when registered through the website)
